Pågående projekt
Under 2007 spelade hela "tjocka släkten" in en CD "The Jonshult Family Album: Volume 1". Här en bild från releasepartyt på Kaffegillet i Gamla Stan söndagen den 31 mars 2008...snart är det dags för Volume 2!
Skivan innehåller blandat och bandat (allt från egna kompositioner till Bob Dylan) och kan köpas via Megastore och undertecknad (se kontakt). Här en av många fina recensioner:
"I've been enjoying my new CD, and have listened enough to be able to send a little feedback, for what it's worth. I love female vocals, so really love the dreamy, floating vocals in Gitarrkonsert i D-Dur, and Giora. A number of the pieces have a lovely new-age music quality that also has that floating effect that I like. Pal-Karls polska is very interesting that way, then it swings into more of an almost Renaissance feel. Augustibrollop has some of that same Renaissance feel. Then there are the pieces with a folk-song quality. It's nice to hear that folk quality come through in the Bob Dylan song. Of course, Arvid's song is very sweet and fun! Tva flaskor vin is a nice little jazz tune, as is Mitt hjarta sjunger, and both have great vocals. And I love Astor Piazzola, so love Cafe 1930. (Argentina is on my short list of places to visit. I want to tango!) It's a fun mix of styles, as you said it would be, and bounces along nicely. Again, thanks for choosing me to be a part of this project, and best of luck to all. Hope their launch party is a big success!
